"God is within her, she will not fall."- Psalms 46:5

and so it begins...

Wow! Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine myself doing this. Let me tell you how this started...I woke up one morning and thought to myself, I wonder what it would be like to be a blogger. So, here I am after doubting myself and having such great friends and family who encouraged me to do this. I am posting my very first blog. I have always followed bloggers and influencers who push me out of my comfort zone and inspire me to try new things. Even if that means just trying a new outfit or a new way to style my hair. Whatever it maybe it pushes me to keep exploring who I am.
Before I keep going let me introduce myself for those who may not know a lot about me! My name is Madalyn Oglesby. My family and people I grew up with call me Mally, so if I ever refer to myself as that y’all know who I am talking about. I am 20 years old, and I attend the University of Southern Mississippi where I am a Kappa Delta. I love all things girly!! I am obsessed with makeup, hair, and I am gaining a new passion for fashion. I am a dog mom to Eleanor,,, she is my baby, and in my opinion the cutest dog in the world. My favorite color is pink, and if you know me, you know I wear a lot of it.
But that’s enough about me for now, I am sure I’ll be talking about my life more throughout this journey. :)
Let’s jump into it,,, most of you are wondering why I chose the name for my blog to be Forty-Six:Five. You may be thinking why in the world did she name her blog with numbers and not just her name?!! Well, I wanted this blog to be bigger than myself. I wanted to share things I am passionate about, things in my short 20 (almost 21) years of life that I have learned about, and most importantly that God helps me overcome any battles life throws me. No matter where I am in life, He always shows me His unconditional love. He never leaves my side, and that EVERYTHING is in His hands. I am such a planner. I love to have a schedule, but God laughs at me a lot. He reminds me that I have to trust His timing. One day I was having a hard day, and I felt like nothing was going my way. I came across a verse that just made me calm down and remember that He is always on my side. “God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at the break of day.” -Psalms 46:5. That verse has stuck with me and has gotten me through some hard parts of my life.
So, if you would like to join me on this crazy journey where I talk about how God always has my back, my life as a college sorority girl, and all things girly,,, I would love to have you come along and subscribe!!!
Always remember to smile more & laugh often!
Lots of Love, Madalyn ♡
