"God is within her, she will not fall."- Psalms 46:5

the true friends...

As a girl, you depend on your friends for support and advice. You go to your friends when you have a good or bad day. You take what they say to heart, because they are your best friend, and you think that whatever they say has to be the best for you. So, make sure your friends are real. Make sure they want the best for you and will be there for you in your life at your lowest times. Make sure that they don't want to see you fail, but they help you reach your goals. Once you find that real friend or those real friends, you will be unstoppable. But, make sure you are that real friend back! Friendships are like relationships, it has struggles and days where one friend may have to love the other more. It's a bond that takes love and support on both sides to last. You may be thinking,"well my best friend does all this, but how do I know if she is a real friend?" Let me tell you this I have learned that your real friends don't talk about you when you leave a room, they don't text other girls and laugh about what shoes you wore last week, and most importantly they never are going to let others talk bad about you to them. Your real friends don't do that. I’ve been there when you get up from the lunch table and hear laughing, and you think they may have been talking about me. We all have, and let me tell you if you think that those girls are your real friends, they are not. It’s a hard lesson to learn. You may even lose people in the process, but those people that leave your life were just a lesson. When I got to college, I found true, amazing friends. Girls who love me for me, and all my flaws. Girls who hype me up, or girls who don't let me leave in an outfit that doesn't look cute. HONEST girls, who just want me to be happy. They support me, even when I doubt myself. They cry with me on my bad days and laugh with me on my good. I can tell them anything without wondering if they will judge me, and they will give me advice that is exactly what I need, even if I don't see it yet. They are the friends who sing Hannah Montana with me and dance with me to all the country songs. PURE friendships!!! They are the greatest of best friends, and I am so thankful they are in my life. They keep me accountable, and they push me to be the best version I can be. When I doubt myself, they are the first ones to tell me I can do it. The girls who I can see or talk to every day, but we still have so much to talk about. These friendships are lifelong. These girls are who I want to stand by my side at my wedding, and my future kids to call their aunt. After college, we have no idea where our lives will take us, but the bonds we have will not break no matter the distance! That is how I know they are real!! To my girls, you know who you are, and I am so thankful for you in my life. I love you with my entire heart, and thank you for being you!! To the girls who haven't found their other halves, you will, and when you do they will be worth the wait,,, trust me!
Always remember to smile more & laugh often!
Lots of Love, Madalyn ♡
